Alden Daniel
August 20, 1939 — October 17, 2024
Alden “Joe” Daniel, age 85 of Decatur, TN, passed away surrounded by his family. An Army Veteran who was a light weight boxer. Retired from TDOT in 2018 and was a member of West Wood Baptist Church. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and loved bowling.
He is preceded in death by his son Alden Joe Daniel Jr., parents Binom and Beulah Daniel; sisters Jean, June and Joan and brothers Jerry and James.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years Jeanette Daniel; son David Daniel; grandchildren Brandy, Harley and Samantha Daniel; great grandchildren Aliceson and Logan; sister Joyce Hall, brother Jack Daniel, sister-in-law Darlene Daniel. Special nieces Angie and Shawn and several other nieces and nephews.
Visitation and service for Alden “Joe” Daniel will be Sunday October 20th 2024 with Pastor Vernon Webb officiating. Family will receive friends from 12:30PM to 2:00PM with service to follow and burial immediately after at Conasagua Cemetery.
