Alex Riley Tallent

Alex Riley Tallent, age 23, of Athens,  departed this life on Sunday, April 5, 2020 at Indian Boundary in Tellico Plains, Tennessee.

Alex was a resident of Monroe County having moved to Athens 10 years ago and was a 2014 graduate of McMinn County High School; a Member of the Athens Church of Christ; and employed at the Cracker Barrel in Cleveland.  He did sign language at his church, he loved to sing, and enjoyed being outdoors and loved people.

He is survived by his parents, Mike and Teresa Tallent; one brother Boyd Tallent; and one sister Carly Tallent, all of Athens; maternal grandparents, Kinzel and Barbara Watson of Madisonville; paternal grandparents, Ruel and Nancy Tallent of Madisonville and Faye and Norman Baur of Alabama; his girlfriend, Jesyka Wheat of Cleveland;  and innumerable extended family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
