Angela Mary Velasquez

Angela Mary Velasquez, age 70, of Madisonville TN, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, October 9, 2022. Angela (Angie) born in Aurora, Illinois "retired" to eastern TN in late 2018. She is survived by two brothers and one sister, also residing in eastern TN.

Angela was known to her family and many friends as someone who always thought of others before herself; It is that endearing life-long aspect of her character that all who knew her will carry forward in their own life's journey. Always an independent and spontaneous person, Angela was known to jump in her Jeep and embrace the adventure. She has now engaged the ultimate heavenly adventure.

There will be no collective life celebration at this time, but there will be a Celebration of Life event on her birthday next year in eastern TN. She asked that those who love her, remember her in their own personal celebration of life event. For those who want to acknowledge her passing now, Angela asked that monetary donations be made in her name for cancer research to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in Memphis, TN. These requests underline who she was and is, always thinking of others before herself.

Thanks Angie, for a life well lived and we look forward to seeing you once again in Heaven.
