Benton James Gibson

Benton James Gibson, age 64, currently of Madisonville, passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at his residence.  His 64^th birthday was January 26, 2020 and he was celebrated with family. 

He was born in Michigan and lived a majority of his life there, and he did spend approximately 10 years in Tennessee.  Benton loved NASCAR and anything car related.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Darwin and Carlene Young Gibson; brothers, Gerald Richard, Stephen Scott , and Jeffrey Lawrence; sister, Darlene Moody; grandparents, Benton and Stella Young, James and Elsie Gibson and Ann Gibson.

Benton is survived by one daughter, Cassandra Roberts of Sweetwater; grandchildren, Walter, Aaron, and Eli Fox of Sweetwater; sister, Jennifer (Gary) Atkins of Madisonville; brothers, Robert Gibson of Sweetwater, Dennis (Diane) Gibson of Maryville, Christopher Gibson of Madisonville.  There are several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and lots of friends both in Tennessee and Michigan who also survive.

There will be no formal services at this time, however, a private service will be held at a later date.
