Bobbie Jean Golden

December 15, 1943 — July 8, 2019

Bobbie Jean Golden, 75, of Etowah, passed away on Monday, July 8, 2019.  She was born in Englewood, on December 15, 1943, a daughter of the late George William Golden and Lura Lee Haney Golden.  Bobbie spent most of her adult life in Houston, Texas and was employed by Texaco.  Bobbie returned to the McMinn County area to be with her parents and was employed at Belk of Athens.   Bobbie attended First Church of God, Englewood with many family members.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Anna Ruth Golden Natter, and sister-in-law, Florene Creasman Golden.  Bobbie leaves behind to cherish her memory a sister, Thelma Mae Golden Burns and her husband, Robert of Etowah; a brother, George W. Golden, also of Etowah; several nieces and nephews; and a special Labrador named Blackie. 

 A Graveside service will be held at 11:00A.M. at Sunrise Cemetery in Englewood.

There will be no formal visitation
