Bobby Leon Fowler

Bobby Leon Fowler, age 89, of Athens passed away February 27, 2021 at Starr Regional Medical Center in Athens. He loved his grand kids and great grand kids. He was a member of the Riceville Church of Christ and graduated from R.E. Lee in 1952 in Thomaston, GA. Bobby was a veteran of the U.S. Airforce and retired as an Electronic Specialist for the U.S. Government. He was the life of the party and enjoyed all sports.

Survivors include wife, Annice Fowler of Athens; sister, Mary Pitts of Florida; sons, Darrell Frye of North Carolina, Glen Fowler of Georgia, daughters, Donna Korb of Georgia, Debbie Frye of Florida and Melissa Nix of Georgia; 8 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and many friends.

Private services will be held.
