Carol Elaine Sillas

Carol (Bunny) E. Sallis (Wingate), passed away, Thursday, May 25, 2023 of natural causes. We are very sad to announce this and she will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Carol was the first-born child of 4, to Sylvia Jean and David George Wingate. She was an amazing mother to her 2 daughters, Amber Jean Jacobs and Serenity Faith Garcia. A loving wife to her husband, Martin Sillas. Carol had 6 grandchildren, Salina Garcia, Paula Garcia, Briseyda and Bianca Garcia, Gavin Lynch and Brooklyn Jacobs. She had 3 younger sibilings, David Wingate, Mark and Karen Wingate. 

Carol loved animals and everyone who knew her was aware of how much he loved her dogs. She was kind-hearted and generous and would do whatever she could to help anyone out. 

Carol will be cremated at her own request. If you knew her, please recall your best memories of her and know that she loved you and would want you to remember the good times. We will always love and miss her. 

Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life for Carol at Serenity of Etowah Funeral Home in the chapel on Monday, June 12, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
