Carolyn G Clowers

Carolyn Clowers, 77 of Niota died Friday, January 31, 2025. She was of the Baptist faith. The daughter of the late Pearl and Alice Raby Tilley, she was also preceded in death by five sisters, Velma Hall, Pearl Bell, Marie Atkins, Leona Woodby, and Louise Jones.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Clowers, Niota; children, Ruth (Eric Best) McDaniel, Spring City, Brenda (Stewart) Harrison, Etowah, Larry (Darlene) McDanial, Athens, Geneva Clowers, Niota, Kristina McDaniel, Niota; brother, Arthur (Cheryl) Tilley, Loudon; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 1 P. M. Tuesday, February 4, 2025 in the chapel of Poole Funeral Home, Etowah with Rev. Donnie Dalton officiating. Interment will follow in Niota Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 4 – 7 P. M. Monday, February 3, 2025 at Poole Funeral Home Etowah.
