Darrin Greggory Johnson

Darrin Greggory Johnson aka DJ, 47, of Delano TN, passed away very unexpectedly on Tuesday June 9th 2020. He and his family belonged to New Community Worship center. He loved spending time with his wife, three beautiful girls and granddaughter. He enjoyed hiking, camping, boating, listening to 90s rap and working out. Physical fitness was a way of life for him, not just a hobby. He loved Jesus and praised God everyday. Darrin will be missed by everyone that had the pleasure of knowing him. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Jewell and Edgar O'Daniel, Marshall and Neva Irene Johnson as well father in law Richard C. Perkinson. Darrin leaves behind his wife of sixteen years, Tara, his three beautiful daughters, Autumn Nicole (24), Savannah Jewell (19), Trinity Celeste (11) their half sister Mya Jade (19), his granddaughter Maicy Clarie (4), his parents Carolyn and Bill, his mother and step father in law, Kathy and Herman Holt. Tara's grandmother Patti Kirkland who he loved dearly. His sister Kimberly, his sister-in-law, Amanda Andrew's, and her children Trey and Miley. He also leaves behind his aunts Kimmy Waldrop, Kelly Harden as well as many other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends that were very dear to him and will carry his memory forever.

A Celebration of Life and Home going for Darrin Greggory Johnson will be held at 7p.m. Wednesday, June 17, 2020 from the chapel of Serenity Funeral Home. Interment will be private.

The family will receive friends from 5-7p.m. on Wednesday prior to the service.
