David “JASON” Huckabey, born November 22, 1975 to David and Joyce Huckabey, passed away July 1, 2024. Jason loved off-roading with his friends and mostly his son, Jacob. Nobody loved their family like Jason loved his. His face would light up when he saw his wife, Candi walk in the room. When Jason was younger you could find him drag racing his mustang. Nothing made him smile more than taking his daughter, Kinslee for a little fast ride. Jason’s infectious laugh and smile will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Jason’s faith was in Jesus. He could often be heard in the middle of the night praying for many things including his health, his family’s health, and their well being. He loved the Lord and his trust was always in Him.
Jason was an amazing husband and dad. He leaves behind his wife Candi Kinser Huckabey who was his one true soulmate and love. His best friend and son, Jacob Huckabey; the apple of his eye and daughter Kinslee Huckabey; his oldest daughter, Makaila and oldest son, Blake. Jason also leaves behind his daddy and namesake, David Huckabey, and his momma, Joyce Martin Huckabey. He is also survived by his brother, and first friend; Kevin Huckabey, his father-in-law, Steve Kinser and mother-in-law, Dianne Land Kinser, and several special aunts, uncles, nieces, nephew, and cousins.
Today Jason walks the streets of gold with his Granny Betty Jo. He is pain-free and diabetic free. Although we miss him here on Earth, if you could give your heart to Jesus and believe in Him, we will all see him again in Heaven.
