Donald Hawley Majestic

Donald Hawley Majestic, age 80, of Etowah, TN, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, February 13, 2022. Donald was born in Suffolk, VA and formally from Saylorsburg, Pennsylvania.  He attended Pleasant Valley School in Brodheadsville, PA. Donald worked at East Stroudsburg College and Effort Dinner before joining the Coast Guard. He served from 1960 to 1966. When Donald returned to civilian life he worked for Sears & Roebuck, Edinger & Wyckoff, Connaught Labs, Yves Saint Laurent, Sullivan Cabinets, Athens Furniture, Manville, and Etowah Baptist Church before retiring. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, farming and woodworking. Donald loved Christmas and his puzzles.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Hawley Frank and Virginia Lutter Majestic; sister, Carolyn Crawford.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Laura Hughes Majestic; children, Randy Majestic, Daniel Majestic, Sandra Majestic of East Stroudsburg, PA, and Tina Majestic of Riceville, TN; grandchildren, Christal Majestic and William Bickford of Ooltewah, TN, Edwin Leo Majestic of East Stroudsburg, PA, Samantha Cottone and Monica Cofano of Stroudsburg, PA; one great grandchild, Savannah. Close family friends include, Dan and Henrietta Lankford, Bob and Gaye Adams; "adopted" daughter, Cynthia Tanty of Cleveland, TN.

There will be a private service for family.
