Donald P. Nardin, born December 4, 1935 to William and Janet Nardin of Roseville, MI; fell asleep in death November 29, 2023 at home with his family by his side.
His occupation was a carpenter. His vocation was a minister of God's word, as he was one of over 8 million Jehovah's Witnesses and was devoted to sharing God's Kingdom hope with all who would listen. He may have even talked to you! He was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses, April 26, 1963.
He settled in Hazel Park, MI as a young married adult to his 1st wife, (our mother) JoAnn. In 1969 he moved his family to rural Grayling, MI and helped establish a congregation there. He was married to our mother until her death in 1980 and he lovingly took care of her until the end.
In 1985, he moved himself and his 2nd wife, Bea, to Holt, MI. There, as a couple they had the privilege of managing the Assembly Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses for the next 19 years.
In 2004, he and his wife moved to Madisonville, TN near one of his daughters. Despite the challenges of caring for his wife with Alzheimer’s, until her death in 2016, he remained focused on serving Jehovah, stayed joyful and learned to show patience and endurance.
He had 2 good marriages, 2 daughters, acquired 3 step sons and a passel load of grandkids. He is survived by his daughters, Denise Mullin (Kevin) and Lisa Baughn (Bob); his youngest brother, Mickey Nardin (Esther) and his step sons, Curtis (Marlene) Walters and Charlie Walters; 4 grandchildren; 5 Great Grandchildren and a whole bunch of friends who loved him dearly. He IS missed but we have the same confidence Job had found in Job 14:15 which says, "You will call, and I will answer you. You will long for the work of your hands."
A memorial service will be held Sunday December 10th, at 2:00 PM -at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses 5186 New Hwy 68 Madisonville, TN 37354
