Fred Haulk

July 12, 1940 — September 23, 2019

Fred Haulk, age 79 of Reliance, departed this life on Monday, September 23, 2019, at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga. Born on July 12, 1940 to the late Howard and Atha Bishop Haulk, he was a native and lifelong resident of Polk County and a member of Calvary Church of GOD in Greasy Creek.

 In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death byhis son, Jerry Haulk; sister, Wilma Wilson; and brother, Dowell Haulk.

He is survived by his  loving wife, Beulah Lee Haulk of Reliance; children, Ricky Haulk of Reliance, Juanita(Shane) Shell of Greasy Creek, and Jennifer (Gary) Laudermilk of Ducktown; daughter-in-law, Jenny Haulk of Cleveland; and sister Lorene Shell of Benton. Nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and other extended family also survive.

A Celebration of Life and Home going for Fred Haulk will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, September 28, 2019 from the chapel of Serenity Funeral Home with burial following in Campground Cemetery.

 The family will receive friends from 1-3p.m. on Saturday prior to the service at the funeral home.
