Freida Stewart Watson

Freida Joyce Stewart Watson, age 82, of Delano, TN died August 19, 2024 at Park West Hospital in Knoxville. She was born June 16, 1942 to Sam and Hazel Stewart. She graduated from McMinn High School and attended Tennessee Wesleyan College in Athens, TN. She married Julian F (Frank) Watson Sr on March 17, 1962 and moved to Pensacola, FL where they started their family. She was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on August 26,1966 and devoted her life to serving her God Jehovah. As a Christian, she enjoyed talking to others about the Bible and the wonderful promise it offers for the future. She was a devoted wife and a loving, caring mother to her 4 children. She was a talented artist and musician and loved to play piano, sing and paint. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Hazel Stewart, brother Gary and Roger Stewart and daughter Sharon West. She is survived by her husband, Julian F (Frank) Watson, son Julian F (Jeff) Watson Jr and wife Susie, daughter Jennifer Abbes and husband Scott, daughter Beverly Miller, and granddaughter Jenna West. A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 31st at 3:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses at 8084 Hwy 411 in Benton, TN.
