Gary Scott Motley, Sr.

Gary S. Motley, Sr., age 59, of Delano, TN went to be with the Lord in Heaven on Wednesday, August 4, 2021. Scott was born on an Army base in Japan on February 4, 1962. He lived in Germany, and moved all over the United States throughout his live and finally residing in East Tennessee.

Scott as a simple, brilliant and talented man. He specialized in mechanics, remodeling and electronics. He loved all his family and spent the majority of his time with his son, Gary, Jr. He enjoyed many things, but mostly he loved a good movie or playing his video game systems. He enjoyed camping and fishing as well. He was a good hearted and caring man, and spread laughter to all he came across. He would often talk about life and teaching those that were interested about whatever he was working on and his lessons will be remembered with his memory!

Scott is preceded in death by his father and mother, Larry Motley, Sr. and Brunhilde Motley; nephew Anthanetti, may they rest in peace.

He is survived by his son, Gary, Jr.; daughters, Candace and Tiffany; siblings, Tina, Larry, Jr., Billy and Mark; grandchildren, Evelyn, Leeroy, Jjay, Azreal, Michael, Ecko Rae, Bella, Elijah and Katara; niece Ashley.

There will be no formal memorial service. Scott wanted to be cremated and his son will spread his ashes as per his wishes. May he rest in peace.
