Hannah NaShae Witt

January 29, 1993 — February 4, 2019

Hannah NaShae Jenkins Witt, age 26, of Athens, our beautiful angel, went home to be with the Lord on Monday morning, February 4, 2019 at her residence. Born in Cleveland on January 29, 1993, she had spent the majority of her life in McMinn County and was a member of Covenant Baptist Church. Hannah was a 2011 graduate of Polk County High School and received her Associate’s Degree and her Medical Assistant degree from Chattanooga State.  She was a longtime employee of the Farmhouse restaurant, and was most recently employed at Village Podiatry where she loved her job, co-workers, Dr. Bello, Dee Maddron, Brittany Baker and her patients. Hannah had an infectious smile and a heart of gold and loved playing soccer, hunting, coaching basketball with her husband, and spending time with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Larry Jenkins; paternal  great-grandparents, Bertha and Doug Jones and Genora and H.B. Jenkins; maternal great-grandparents, Vernie White and Frank and Irene McDowell; uncles,Larry Jenkins, Jr. and Travis Jenkins; maternal grandmother-in-law, Dorris Ann Drennin; paternal great-grandparents- in-law, Ivan and Beulah Witt.

Hannah is survived by her loving husband, Joseph Blake Witt of Athens; Landin McInturff son at heart but not by birth; parents Burt and Leslie Jenkins of Etowah; sister, Savannah and Blake Johnson of Etowah; brother, Dustin Underwood of Etowah; special nephew, Baker Johnson; grandparents, Bill and Diane White of Etowah; Janice and Leroy Shelton of Ten Mile; Darla Jenkins of Delano;  great- grandmother, Della White of Cleveland; mother-in-law, Pam and Jeff Weir of Athens; father-in-law, Alan Witt of Athens; brother-in-law, Justin and Whitney Weir of Athens,  and grandparents- in-law, Anna and Willard McPhail of Athens; and her special fur babies, Easton and Sawyer. Several special aunts, uncles, cousins and other extended family. A multitude of friends also survive.

 A Celebration of Life and Home going for Hannah Jenkins Witt will be held at 2p.m. Saturday, February 9, 2019 at North Etowah Baptist Church with Reverend Gary Higgins officiating. Interment will follow in Delano Cemetery with Blake Johnson, Hunter Cardin, “Worm” Jeremy Harrison, Tony Allman, Dustin Underwood, Dylan Presswood, Bill”BB” Irvin, and Jeff Weir serving as active pallbearers and Justin Weir, Tucker Beshears, Zach Poteet, Robbie Ward, Danny Beshears, and Hunter Peterson serving as honorary pallbearers. The McMInn County Honor Guard and the Bradley County Honor Guard will provide honors, and a White Dove Release Ceremony will conclude the services.

The family will receive friends from 4-8p.m. On Friday, February 8, 2019 at North Etowah Baptist Church.
