Helen Lethco Martin

Helen Lethco Martin, age 67, of Reliance, departed this life on Friday, March 29, 2019, at her brother’s home. Born on May 30, 1951 to the late Henry Sam and Donna Jane Wallace Lethco, she attended Maple Springs Baptist Church and loved singing with her husband at various churches and on the Gospel radio.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Basil M. Martin and several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her son, Ray Martin(Kelly Gray) of Reliance; daughter, Audra Cross of Madisonville; grandchildren, Ashley Martin, Kaleb Martin, Dakota Cross(Sarah), and Shayanna Cross; brother, Roy Lethco(Helen) of Sweetwater; and sister, Sue Campbell of Maryville; and several extended family and friends.

A Celebration of Life and Home going will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, 2019 from the chapel of Serenity Funeral Home with Brother Vernon Webb and Brother Don Harris officiating.

The family and friends will meet at DeHart Cemetery at 12 noon on Wendesday, April 3, 2019 for the committal service.

The family will receive friends from 5-7p.m on Tuesday at the funeral home prior to the service.
