James Leonard Derrick

James Derrick, age 89, a lifelong resident of Englewood passed away Sunday, October 25, 2020 at Tennova in Cleveland.

He was the son of the late Lowe and Ida Brock Derrick. He loved to fish, hunt, go to the mountains and spend time with his family.

James was preceded in death by brothers Clyde, Bill and Tom Derrick; sisters Annie Mae Derrick, Ina Williams, Zora Martin.

Survivors include 5 children David Derrick of Etowah, Linda Tomlin (Garry) of Englewood, Mary Begley of Etowah, Teresa Snyder (Billy) of Englewood, Mark Derrick(Donna) of Englewood, 13 grandchildren Heath Derrick, Matthew Derrick, Heather McDaniel, Shannon Rule, Sherri Denton, Casey Massingale, Zachary Tomlin, Dustin Aderhold, Micah Begley, Jamie Snyder, Kimberly Culberson, Drake Derrick, Dana Davis; 12 great-grandchildren; 1 great, great-grandchild.

Private family services will be held.
