James "Jim" Joseph Rahe

October 25, 1957 — June 30, 2020

Jim Rahe, age 62 of Tellico Plains, passed away on June 30, 2020 at Tennova Healthcare of Cleveland.

He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to Jack, Sr. and Margaret Fahey Pierce on October 25, 1957.  Jim had lived in Monroe County for the past 11 years and served in the Marine Corp.  He previously worked as a truck driver for Service Trucking in Florida.  He loved fishing, woodworking and riding motorcycles.

He is preceded in death by his father, Jack Pierce; sister, Nadeen Roderick, and niece Geneva Darrah.

Jim is survived  by his wife, Ann Rahe; five children, Mike Thoma, James Rahe, Jr (Amanda), Mike Anderson (Samantha), Curtis Rahe and Christina Anderson; sixteen grandchildren; one sister, Sandra Darrah of Etowah; three brothers, Jack Pierce, Jr of Delano, David Pierce of Chattanooga, and Fred Rahe of Kentucky.

Graveside services will be conducted on Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. in the Unicoi Cemetery in Tellico Plains, TN. 

The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. prior to the graveside at the Funeral Home Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to help offset the cost of the funeral expenses.
