James Sanford Perian, age 86, originated from Etowah, passed away at his home. James and Jimmie had moved to Florida in the late 80’s. He was a hard worker until the end and after retiring from Hardwick Stove, he got involved in the real estate business. James loved his family and always enjoyed coming to Tennessee to visit.
James was preceded in death by his parents, Judge Sanford and Ellen Perian; brother, Tommy Perian; grandson, Matthew Perian.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Jimmie “Jippy” Perian of Dunnellon, FL; sons and daughters-in-law, Lawrence (Frances - deceased) Perian and Kenneth (Audrey) Perian, Steve (Margie) Perian all of Etowah; 5 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; sisters, Donna Freeman and Brenda Stewart; brothers, Chester, Winston and Ricky Perian; several nieces, nephews and many friends.
Family will welcome friends in the Serenity Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, February 20, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. with funeral service at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Lee Ingram officiating. Interment will immediate follow services at Delano Cemetery.
