James Allen Yarber, age 56, of Englewood, went to be with the Lord after a lengthy illness on January 6, 2023.
He was a logger for many years contracted thru Bowater Paper Co of Charleston, a truck driver and up until his passing a diesel mechanic for East Tennessee Industrial Warehouse in Etowah.
He was proceeded in death by his grandparents, James and Alice (Barnet) Yarber, Leonard and Fleta (Masingale) Hembree; father, Luther Yarber; stepfather, Jerry Brock; several uncles all of Englewood.
He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Tena Conner Yarber; mother, Yvonne (Hembree) Brock; 2 children, Justin Yarber of Englewood, Shelby and Chris Raper of Etowah; 1 brother and sister-in-law, Shane and Pam Yarber of Etowah; 1 brother-in-law, Steve Conner; in-laws, James and Cherie Conner of Etowah; 2 nephews, MacKenzie and Bethany Yarber, Braden Yarber; 3 nieces, Alyssa Conner, Jerin Conner Mccormick, Skylar Shell Yarber; very special family, John and April Amos; special friend, Mike King along with several family members and close friends.
There will be no formal service only a visitation on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 pm.
Celebration of life to be held at a later date to be announced.
In lieu of flowers, donations towards funeral expenses can be made.
