Jane Rucker

Jane Rucker, age 76, of Etowah, departed this life on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at Starr Regional Medical Center-Etowah. Born on August 19, 1942 to the late John and Mae Beavers Eddington, she was a native and lifelong resident of McMinn County and a member of Conasauga Baptist Church. Jane was retired from Morgan Manufacturing and enjoyed gardening, yardsaling, and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jay Rucker; and brother, J.L.Eddington.

She is survived by her children, Ken Rucker and Mary of Etowah, Wanda Yarber of Etowah, and Nancy Disspain of Etowah; grandchildren, Cody Yarber, Jamie Cornwall, Caleb Moses, Charity Disspain; and great-grandchild, Henley Goins. Several other extended family and friends also survive.

A Celebration of Life and Home going will be held at 7p.m. Friday, July 5, 2019 from the chapel of Serenity Funeral Home with Brother Ronnie Best officiating.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday morning, July 6, 2019 at Conasauga Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 5-7p.m on Friday at the funeral home prior to the service.
