Janet Lynn Constant age 68, of Etowah, went home on the morning of Saturday, April 25, 2020 at Erlanger Medical Center.
Janet was born May 14, 1951, a daughter of the late Frank and Ana Lou Clark (Burns) of Etowah.
She was a member of Coghill Baptist Church. Janet loved spending time with her grandson, Axel. Janet spent several years working as a paralegal, then writing for the Daily Post Athenian followed by working as a real estate agent with Garren Realityuntil her retirement in 2006.
She is survived by a loving husband of 43 years, Ed Constant, one daughter and son-in-law Brianna and Jeff David of Etowah and adored grandson, Axel David. Three sisters Joyce “Sissy” Hyde, (Ron) of Etowah: Cindy Pankey, (Jerry) of Benton, Teresa ‘Tessie’ Sliger of Etowah, two brothers Bill Clark, (Jean) of Georgetown and Kenny Clark, (JoAnn) of Cleveland. Along with several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and loving friends.
The family expresses appreciation to the members of Starr Regional Medical Center Emergency room, Etowah. The staff, nurses and physicians who were all involved in her care over the years since her heart condition was first diagnosed in 2005. A sincere, thank you.
A private graveside service will be held at Coghill Cemetery on Tuesday, April 28th, 2020 at 1100am. Rev. Wendell Puett will be officiating. Pallbearers will include Hank Shadden, Gary Bramlett, Adam Bunch, Logan Bunch, Drew Lillard, Lonnie Tucker and Travis Hughes.
