Jeffrey Lynn Albritton

Mr. Jeffrey Lynn Albritton, age 69 of Etowah, TN passed away Friday, October 18th, 2024 at his residence unexpectedly. He was 69. 

A graveside service will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at Jones Chapel cemetery with the Rev. Tony Curtis officiating. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Poole Funeral Home of Etowah on Wednesday before the graveside service. 

Mr. Albritton was born October 20, 1954 in Athens, Tennessee to the late Zane Albritton and Sammie Jean Rowland Albritton. Mr. Albritton served his country in the U.S. Army and served two years and was assigned to Hunter Army Airfield and assigned to the 132nd Assault Support Helicopter Company as a Chinook Helicopter Repairman and this was from 1975-1977. After his military career, Mr. Albritton became a Master Carpenter and worked the rest of his career in construction. Mr. Albritton also enjoyed farming as well.

Mr. Albritton was preceded in death by his father, Zane Lee Albritton in 2019, and also a brother, Gregory Lee Albritton in 2018.

Survivors include his mother, Sammie Jean Albritton, Delano, TN; aunts and uncles, Carolyn Givens (Arlie), Chattanooga, TN: Larry Rowland, Jones Chapel Community; Life-Long Sweet Heart, Alma Maddux, Benton, TN; Life-Long best friends, Randy Coleman (Susan), Englewood, TN.
