Joyce Ann Maloney

Joyce Ann Maloney, 73 of Etowah died Monday, February 10, 2025. She was the daughter of the late Luther and Sarah Jane Holland Baker. Joyce was also preceded in death by her husband, David Maloney and brother, David Baker. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. She was a cake decorator at Food City for nearly 20 years. 

Survivors include her sons, Steven (Laurie) Long, Etowah, Michael Long, Cleveland; brothers, Bobby (Carla) Baker, Middletown, OH, Donnie Baker, Carlisle, OH; grandchildren, Christopher Long, Hunter Long, Corey (Kelly) Long, Elaina Long; great granddaughter, Violet Long; her loyal dog and companion, Clarice, and several nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones in Ohio and at Food City.

Funeral service will be at 11 AM Friday, February 14, 2025 in the chapel of Poole Funeral Home Etowah. Interment will follow at Green Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 4 – 7 Thursday, February 13, 2025 at Poole Funeral Home Etowah.
