Karen Barrett

Karen Walton Barrett, age 60, passed away Thursday, May 23, 2024 at her home surrounded by her family.    She retired from Medical Billing.   Karen was a member of Delano Baptist Church.  She enjoyed crocheting, loved journaling and spending time in devotion.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Timothy Barrett; sister, Yevonne Bowman and father, Wayne Walton.  

She is survived by her children, Jason Barrett and wife, Pamela, Jacob Barrett and wife Chloe; grandchildren, Haley and Brooke; mother, Jacqueline Walton; sister Amanda Banker and husband Anthony; several nieces and nephews, and her fur baby, Conner.

Service will be held at Delano Baptist Church, at 1:00 Saturday, June 1^st at Delano Baptist Church with Pastor Jamie Johnson officiating.

Interment will be following the service at Brock graveyard also known as Mount View Baptist Church Cemetery in Reliance, TN with a dove release ceremony concluding the service.

Visitation will be held Friday, May 31^st from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Poole Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Etowah and also one hour prior to the service at the Church.
