Martha Miller

Martha Kuhr Miller, age 84, of Sweetwater, departed this life on Thursday, November 14, 2019 at Sweetwater Hospital. Born in Germany, Martha came to the United States and spent a majority of her life in Reading and Shillington, Pennsylvania before moving to Sweetwater three years ago.  She was of the Lutheran faith and attended South Holston Baptist Church in Lenoir City with her family. Martha enjoyed gardening, traveling, and spending time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Carroll C.Miller; mother, Helene Effinger, and brother, Emile.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Helene and Jimmy Walker of Sweetwater; step-son Gary (Judith) Miller of Poland, Ohio; grandchildren, Natalie DeGroot, Melissa Eckert, Stephen Miller, Amanda Miller, Geoff Stoner, Mark Stoner, Cheyenne Stevens, Roseanna Ricker, Joseph Walker, and Daniel Walker; several great-grandchildren, and extended family and friends.

A Graveside service will be held at a time and date to be named in Pennsylvania.
