Arlen Mizell

Arlen Mizell, age 67, of Maryville, TN passed away Monday, April 12, 2021 after a brief battle with cancer. Arlen, also known to some as “M&M”, was born March 28, 1954 in Natchez, MS.

He was a retired owner/operator truck driver and all around jack of all trades. He enjoyed helping anyone in need and would give you the shirt off of his back. He could always light up a room with his big personality. He loved to laugh and to make others laugh as well and he never met a stranger. Arlen had a passion for music, including playing his guitars. His number one passion was his dog, Jackey Black Eyes.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Murray and Mona Faye Mizell; aunt Grace; sister, Connie (Curtis) Hardee and his beloved dog, Jack.

Arlen is survived by his daughter, Shy Guedon; two grandchildren; three brothers, Curtis (Sue) Mizell, Danny (Misty) Mizell, and Robin Mizell; and many nieces and nephews. Special friends include Jimmy (Amy) Everett, Jody (Stephanie) Best, and Kathy Nettles. He will truly be missed by all.

A memorial for Arlen will be held at a future date.
