Patricia “Pat” Ann Padgett Duff, 72, passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at 11:44 a.m., at the University Of Tennessee Hospital in Knoxville. She was a life-long resident of Englewood, Tennessee.
Pat was preceded in death by her husband and best friend, Ronnie Duff of 58 years; her parents, Kenneth E and Missouri L. Padgett; and her great grandson Weston Duff.
Pat is survived by her two sons and spouses, Mike (Regina) Duff and Chris (Kayla) Duff; her two grandchildren and spouse, Brandon (Candace) Duff, and Tasha duff; her six great-grandchildren, Miracle Duff, Aaliyah Coffey, Ryder Duff, Waylon Duff, Bradley Coffey, and Dakoda Evans, all of Englewood.
Pat was born December 21, 1946 in Athens and graduated from Englewood High School. She retired from Crescent Hosiery Mill in Niota in 2003. She attended the Englewood Church of God when she was physically able.
Pat and Ronnie were married on December 2, 1961. They were happy and in love for so many years until Ronnie passed away in 2017. Pat’s family was her life. She was the glue that held everyone’s rock together.
She loved spending time with her great-grandbabies; and was an amazing cook. Family dinners on Thanksgiving will never be the same. She was a very devoted mother to everyone especially her two sons. She enjoyed sitting in her favorite chair with coffee in one hand and her cigarette in the other watching Gunsmoke.
Pat is already missed very deeply by her family, her best friend of many years, Shirley Rogers, and all who knew her.
