Peggy Jane Cox Wall

Peggy Jane Cox Wall, 74, of Etowah, passed away on May 1, 2019.  She loved working in her flower beds and adored her family.  She was a nurse in McMinn County and made a wonderful impact on her patients’ lives. 

She was the daughter of John Fred (Windy) and Rossie Ann Cox.

She was preceded in death by her brothers Jack Cox and wife Ruth, Harold R. (Creepy) Cox and wife Margie, John E. (Buddy) Cox and wife Billie, and Al Cox and wife Patsy;  sister Ann Black and husband Clarence; brother in laws Clarence Wilson and Carless Wall; and sister in law Clara Caruthers and husband Joe.

Peggy is survived by her husband of 54 years, Lonas (Cuckle).  Other survivors are their two sons, Scott Wall and Steve Wall and fiancée Misty; their 4 granddaughters, Alexys and husband James Wooten, Alyssa and husband Dylan Richardson, Alayna and husband Will Maples and Sydney Wall; their grandson Trent Smith; and great-grandchildren Phoenix Whitney, Elsie Smith, and Riley Wampler.  She is also survived by her brother Robert (Bobby) Cox and wife Sandra;  her sister Reeda Wilson; brother in law Sam Wall and wife Josie; sister in laws Alta Gambill and husband John and Darlene Wall; and several nieces and nephews.  Services will be held at her home with her immediate family as she requested.  Thanks to Serenity Funeral Home for helping the family fulfill her requests.
