Rodney Ray Blow, age 65 of Etowah, passed away January 8, 2020 at Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville. He was born in Montana, spent a majority of his life in North Carolina and lived in McMinn County for the past 10 years. He was of the Baptist faith; he served his country in the United States Navy, and enjoyed riding motorcycles, playing golf, pool and spending time with his family.
Rodney was preceded in death by his father, Glen Blow; sister Diane Heater; and son Mark Todd.
He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Shirleymae VanDeveer Blow; mother, Phyllis Blow of Albuquerque, New Mexico; daughter, Tiffany Todd of Gulf Breeze, FL; grandchildren Randall and Marc Todd; brothers, Bob (Barbara) Blow of Colorado and David (Venice) Blow of San Diego, CA; and several nieces, nephews and other extended family also survive.
A funeral service will be conducted on Sunday, January 12, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in the Serenity of Etowah Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Sharon Fosty officiating.
Interment will follow at Green Hill Cemetery in Etowah.
