Ronald Albert Bobilin, 63, of Tellico Plains, Tn. Died on February 2, 2020 after a 19-month battle of Pancreatic and Lung Cancer. He never fought so hard for anything in his life as he did to fight this disease, every option given to him by the many doctors he never said no. He fought with grace and kindness along with the Chemo and radiation he worked until he just did not have the energy to go on working fulltime, then he went part time for as long as he could.

Ron was born in Amsterdam, New York and raised at Bobilin Boat Works (Owner Albert Bobilin, Grandfather), Mayfield, New York until he was 6 years old then his parents moved to Ft Lauderdale, Fl. relocating to West Palm Beach, Florida in 1961. Ron and Sharon then moved to Tellico Plains, Tn in Oct 2005. His first goal was to get his GED which he did in October 2006. Ron attended North Tech School in Riviera Beach, Fl for his High School years earning many certificates for different trades. In December 2005, the trades he learned were used as he started night shift at Mill Products Inc. in order to complete his classes for his GED. Ron loved his job and worked at Mill products until August 2019, he always planned to go back to work but the cancer took its toll and he could no longer work. Ron had a strong work ethic and passed it on to his children in that we are all truly blessed. He phases “never say never” is one of the blessings he passed to his family.

His hobbies were boating and fishing along with woodwork. Fishing every chance, he got right up to November 2019.
