Ruby Mae Hull

Ruby Mae Deaton Hull, age 77, passed away peacefully July 30th, 2020 at Blount Memorial Medical Center. She was born and raised in Monroe County, and spent her life raising her family, ensuring their success, and making sure her family was well fed.  Ruby enjoyed her life and was very proud of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Johnnie Starlan Deaton and Nellie Marie Torbett; sister, Edna Donaldson; brothers-in-law, Thomas E. Pearson, Chic Donaldson, and Gus Morris; her loving husband, Bennie Hurd Hull; and nephews, Johnnie Morris and Jimmy Corbett.

Ruby is survived by her sisters, Thelma Morris and Faye Pearson; children, Lisa Gail Hunt and James Russell 'Rusty' Prater and his wife Joy Prater; nieces and nephews, Wayne Corbitt and his wife Jenna Corbitt, Annette Corbett, Robin Corbett, Tina Donaldson, Donna Morris, Samantha Morris, Renee Pearson, and Shenia Witt;  grandchildren- Brandy Zornman and her fiance Derrick White, Emily Lawrence and her husband Clayton Lawrence, and Dusty Prater; and great-grandchildren: Blaise Zornman, Judah White, Job White, and Jensen White.

The family will be having a private celebration of life on a later date.
