Stephen "Steve" Edward Hicks

Stephen Edward Hicks (Steve), 50, of Knoxville, TN, passed away on May 6, 2021. He was born to parents Edward Lawton Hicks and Betty Rae Hicks, on February 25, 1971.

He graduated from Orange High School in Hillsborough, NC in 1990. Steve loved football, bonfires, and fishing. He loved to laugh and spend time with family. He gave his life to Jesus Christ and every day put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18).

Steve is survived by his wife, Kathy Fuller of Knoxville, TN. His stepmother Donna Hicks of Wilmington, NC. His brothers Jim (Carisa) Hicks of Gretna, VA; David (Elizabeth) Hicks of Wilmington, NC; and his sister Sarah (Lewis) Burton of Knoxville, TN. His stepsister, Angela McLyea of Myrtle Beach, SC. His son Christian (Lucinda) Hicks of Lashmeet, WV, and daughter Chelsea (Dalton) Egnor, of Bluefield, WV. And many beloved family members and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Edward Hicks and mother, Betty McLyea.

A Celebration of Life was held at Bluefield City Park in Bluefield, WV on July 18, 2021.
