Steve Cole

Steve Cole, age 73, of Knoxville and formerly of Etowah, departed this life on Thursday, July 4, 2019 at Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville. Born in Etowah on August 16, 1945 to the late Amos Lee and Essie Sarah Cardin Cole, he had lived in Knoxville the past 15 years and was a Vietnam veteran serving his country in the United States Army. He loved yardsaling, going to gun shows, fishing, traveling, NASCAR, and spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Wayne Cole and Willie Cole; and sisters, Cynthia Skipper and JoAnn Johnson.

Steve is survived by his son, Chris Cole of Etowah; grandchildren, Ryland Cole, Bayley Cole and Madison Cole all of Etowah; and siblings, Leslie (Noreen) Cole, Pauline Barncard , and Jean (Kenneth) Brown all of Etowah. Several nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends also survive.
