Susie Wilcox

Susie Jane Wilcox, 81 of Delano, TN passed to her eternal home with family by her side on January 14, 2025. She was a member of Welcome Valley Baptist and retired from Hardwick Clothes where she worked for over 30 years. 

  Susie was preceded in death by her father Jessie Jones and mother Winnie Jones. Her husband Cecil Wilcox, her brothers Jessie “Junior” Jones, Leonard Jones and William T. “Pete” Jones. A grandson Eric Jones and nephew Ricky Lee Jones.

  Susie is survived by her sons Brian Banks, Emmett “Leon” Banks and wife Robin Banks, Doug Wilcox and wife Betty Wilcox, her daughter Nikki Coleman and husband Roger Coleman. Her grandchildren Cody Jones, Shawn Kerr and wife Shelby Kerr, Buck Wilcox, Danielle Wilcox and Berry Jones. Great grandchildren Tiffany Jones, Everett “Littleman” Gibbs, and several nieces and nephews that caller her momma. 

The family would also like to give recognition to pall bearers Doug Wilcox, Buck Wilcox, Andrew Jones, Wayne Jones, David Jones, and Michael Jones. Honorary mentions James Gibbs, Darrell Gibbs, Daniel Cronan, Berry Jones and Chris Jones.

 Funeral services will be held at Poole Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Etowah on Friday 1/17/2025 with family receiving friends from 11AM-1PM with a service in the chapel with Rev. Blake Wilcox and Rev. Jake Brown officiating, with a burial to follow at Towee Falls Baptist Church Cemetery.
