Ted Louis Moore

Ted Moore age 85 of Englewood passed away February 26, 2022 at Starr Regional Hospital in Athens. He attended Dixon Avenue Baptist Church and was a born again saved Christian. Ted loved his family and was a great family man. He was an avid fisherman with lots of fishing buddies. He was a generous man very giving to his community. Ted had a great since of humor and enjoyed telling a good joke.

Preceded in death by parents: Ed and Bessie Moore, Wife Arizona Moore, Brothers Bruce & Leonard (Son) Moore. Sisters: Pansy Corvin, Mary Scroggins, Billy Jean Pratt, Katherine Patterson. Daughter Connie Moore Brown.

Survivors: Daughter Lisa Watson, Grandsons, Eddy Watson, Jonathan (Brittany Lynn) Watson, Great-grandsons Jacob Lee White and Job Benjamin Watson all of Englewood. Several nieces, nephews and many friends.

Family and friends will meet Tuesday March 1, 2022 at 1:00pm for graveside services and interment at Mars Hill Cemetery in Englewood with Rev Allen Watson officiating. 

Family requests no flowers. 

Serenity Funeral Home and Cremation Center is in charge of arrangements.
