Tommy Dan Hooper

Tommy Dan Hooper, 83 of Etowah died Thursday, January 2, 2025 at his residence. Tommy regularly and faithfully attended Church and was of Baptist faith. He was a loving family man who was hardworking and loyal throughout his life and passionate about Tennessee Volunteer football. Tommy was the son of the late Kenneth and Imogene Black Hooper. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Laura Hooper, son, Jeffrey Dan Hooper, and a brother, Eddie Hooper. 

Survivors include his daughters, Tonya (Freddy) Presswood, Manchester, TN, Candace Hooper, Etowah, sister, Gail (Arnold) Sledge, Athens, brother, Mike (Lisa) Hooper, Knoxville; grandchildren, Danielle Presswood, Katie (Casey) Widener, Jacob (Kassidi) Hooper, and Aaron Haney; and five great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 1 P.M. Saturday, January 4, 2025 in the chapel of Poole Funeral Home, Etowah. Interment will follow at Etowah Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11 A.M. till 1 P.M. Saturday, January 4, 2025 at Poole Funeral Home, Etowah.
