Tracy Jo Wilson

Tracy Jo Wilson, age 42, went to Heaven on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at around 3:00 a.m.  Therefore, with much sadness that we tell you God called a beautiful soul home.  He called her to lay down her burdens, all of her pain and suffering, and pick up her crown.  Cancer may have shortened our time with her, but as Tracy stated, “I will be healed here or there!”  She is THERE, and we have HOPE beyond the grave.

Tracy is preceded in death by her grandparents, Clyde and Betty Ledford of Benton, TN.

She is survived by her husband, Rex Wilson; two daughters Alyssa (Jake, granddaughter Mika) Watson, and Allie Wilson, all of Etowah; sons, Caleb Vaughn of Ft. Stewart, GA and Corey Wilson of Etowah; her mother, Tina (Chuck) Watkins of Chattanooga, TN; two brothers, Chris Bottoms of Birchwood, TN, Jason (Holly) Bottoms of Lindale, TX; stepbrother Chris (Macy) Watkins; stepsister, Ashleigh Watkins.  Five nieces, one nephew and several cousins also survive.

A Celebration of Life and Home Going will be conducted on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at 12:00 noon at the Christway Church in Ooltewah with the Reverend Jimmy Parm and the Reverend John Waters officiating. There will be a one hour visitation prior to the Celebration of Life Service.  The committal service will be held at Greenhill Cemetery in Etowah at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.

The family and friends visitation will be on Friday, November 8, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Serenity of Etowah Funeral Home in Etowah.
