William Arthur Haskins

William Arthur Haskins, age 71, passed away at his home on Saturday, June 20, 2020.  He was born in Bradley County and spent the past 20 years in Sweetwater.   He attended Shepherd Chapel Church and enjoyed fishing, sports and spending time with his family.

He was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force and was previously employed at High Point Refrigeration in NC.

William is preceded in death by his parents, Joe & Emogene Haskins and his first wife Sherry Ann Haskins.

He is survived by one son, Steve Haskins of Thomasville, NC; one grandson, Trevor Haskins of Wallburg, NC; one brother and wife, Wayne and Wanda Haskins of Gastonia, NC; one sister and husband, Wanda and Troy Wilhelm of Randleman, NC; a special friend, Sue Martin of Sweetwater;  several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends also surviving.

A Graveside service will be conducted on Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at 2 p.m. at the Forkner Chapel Cemetery in Sweetwater.

No formal visitation will be held.
