William James Webber, age 77, of Maryville, TN, passed away Friday, May 27, 2022. William was an avid fisherman, spending many a day on the Hiwassee and Little T. He enjoyed Red Rebel Football and was a Vols. He was also a big fan of the Braves and got to see them win the World Series. He was also a perfectionist, a skill he developed as a welder. If something need to be fixed, he would figure out a way to fix it!
William was preceded in death by his father, William H. Webber; mother and step-father, Rosalee and Charles Keener; step-mothers, Dorothy Webber and Sybil Webber; sister, Melissa Webber; and great granddaughter, Krystal Webber; niece, Tammie Fisher; nephew, Jaxon Webber
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Barbara Ann Webber; son, William Jay Webber; son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Shirley Webber all of Maryville; daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Curtis Bishop of Cleveland; former daughter-in-law, Michelle Webber of Maryville; sisters, Carolyn Sloan, Rosemary (Cecil) Farmer and Terri Webber, all of Knoxville; brothers, Phillip Keener of Knoxville; Vince (Sherri) Webber of FL; Kevin (Kimberly) Webber of WV; six grandchildren, Trish Myers, Wesley Webber, Jamie Bishop, Kayla Webber, Samantha Bishop, Jesse Bishop; 2 great granddaughters, Jaylynn Webber and Evelynn Wilkinson; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and many friends.
Family will meet with friends, Tuesday May 31, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. for a viewing in the Louisville Cemetery. Graveside service will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Joe Brooks officiating.
A gathering of family and friends will be announced at a later date.
