Yancey Fredrick Johnson

Yancey Fredrick Johnson, age 33, of Etowah, passed away October 26, 2021 at his home. He enjoyed truck driving. Yancey had a great heart and many friends. Spending time outdoors hunting and fishing was also one of his favorite pastimes.

Yancey was preceded in death by his grandparents, Reverend Bobby and Beulah Johnson, and Jeff and Hazel Hammack.

He is survived by his parents, Jimmy and Barbara Johnson of Etowah; brother, Waylon Johnson of Etowah; several cousins and many friends.

Family and friends will meet Friday, October 29, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in Green Hill Cemetery for a graveside service and interment with Reverend Glen Thomas officiating. Dove release ceremony and bagpipes will conclude service.
